Natural Gas Power

Amber Energy has four wholly-owned gas-fired power plants in Zhejiang province of China with aggregate capacity of approximately 457 MW. The four gas-fired power plants of the Group are fueled by natural gas. As compared with traditional coal-fired power plants, they emit almost no fine particles and sulphur dioxide by only producing a small sum of nitrogen oxide and generate less noise and carbon dioxide emissions. With the same unit of heat released, the carbon dioxide emission from burning of natural gas is around 50% less than of coal. In addition, in compare with the traditional coal-fired power plants, the gas-fired power plants can start up and ramp up its electricity generation in a shorter period of time to fit the peak power demand from the power grid.
